Ich wüsste nicht, wozu das Koppeltragegestell gut sein sollte, wenn man nichts dran befestigt. Einen Verletzten kann man auch anders bergen.
Überdies ist es in der Tat lachhaft, dass Kameraden a) in der Vorbereitung auf den Auslandseinsatz und b) bei Trainingseinheiten mit verbündeten Armeen nicht die Ausrüstung kriegen, die sie im Einsatz später tragen sollen. Vielleicht ist die Pistole in seiner Verwendung auch die primäre Waffe und er trägt eine zweite im Tiefziehholster aus dem gleichen Grund, warum auch der Mensch mit der MP oder dem Stgw dort eine tragen würde - für den Fall, dass seine Hauptwaffe leergeschossen ist oder blockiert.

Und welchen Sinn hat das Ganze? Und warum benutzt er zwei verschiedene Holster? Vllt ist er allgemein nur mit einer Pistole bewaffnet und trägt die zweite als Backup rum. Oder er fühlt sich mit zwei Backupwaffen sicherer ... oder oder oder. Der Mann wird schon wissen was er tut. Für einen Schildträger könnten 2 Pistolen eine Option sein. |

Es gab im Forum mal ne Diskussion zu dem Thema, weil ein paar Special-Forces-Bobbies mit halb vollen G36-Magazinen fotografiert wurden. Zu welcher Einheit gehören diese britischen Polizisten?
Ich hatte das bisher so vertsanden, dass die Masse der britischen Polizisten unbewaffnet seien. Danach kämen noch einige Streifenwagen mit bewaffneten Polizisten. Das ist prinzipiell richtig, aber bis das SAS ausgepackt wird, dauert es schon noch länger. CO19 ist so mehr oder weniger das Londoner Äquivalent zu SWAT/SEK und wird immer dann eingesetzt, wenn Bewaffnete festgenommen werden müssen. Ich hatte das so verstanden, daß auf den ARV's sogenannte Authorised Firearms Officers sitzen, die bei Bedarf reguläre (unbewaffnete) Polizeikräfte verstärken.
Für größere besondere Einsatzlagen kommt dann CO19. DWH -------------------- www.sondereinheiten.de
