Hätte ich es drauf ankommen lassen ... Das war aber US-Grenzpolizei. Abteilix "Sport (----)" bei einem SWAT-Team? Ich glaube nicht. Die Jungs sind einfach nur aufgepumpt bis zum geht nicht mehr, der durchschnittliche Polizist in LA hat größere Oberarme als ich Oberschenkel. Ob das furchtbar sinnvoll ist sei dahingestellt, aber einen tatsächlich Dicken wirst du da wohl nicht finden. Die Jungs haben halt Linemen-Statur. -------------------- Liberalmeran.

Im Normalfall kannst du auch ein SEK nicht mit den SWAT-Teams in den meisten US Städten vergleichen. Während die deutschen SEK Beamten den Job hauptberuflich machen, ist es im Amiland usus, dass die SWAT Kapazität zusätzlich zu der normalen Streifentätigkeit ausgeübt wird und das Team nur bei einem entsprechenden Einsatz zusammengerufen wird! D.h. die SWAT-Funktion ist mehr oder weniger eine Zusatzqualifikation des Beamten.

auch viele europäische SEK sind nicht Vollzeit (und bei dem Boston Metro Police SWAT kannst du wiederum von Vollzeit ausgehen)
vor allem sagt das rein gar nichts aus, es hängt wie Almeran schon schrieb, viel stärker mit einem sich zT stark unterscheidenden Fitnessprofil zusammen, hier eher sehnig dort eher kräftig. -------------------- Wer zum Denken nachdenkseiten braucht, denkt auch, dass ihm ihm die Tankkarte das tanken abnimmt.

Ich glaube einfach das der Dienstsport bei den Amis größer geschrieben wird als hier. Man stelle nur mal als Vergleich den mitte 40 Jährigen Streifencop neben den Schnauzbärtigen klischee Kommissar. Kann beides durchaus Vorurteilbehaftet sein, aber bei den Amis wird meiner Meinung nach der Kraftsport einfach mehr gefördert.

Das ist doch alles höchst spekulativ. "Die" Amis gibt es nicht, ebensowenig wie es "das" SEK gibt. Die Strukturen/Einheiten sind höchst unterschiedlich und damit sicher auch die Anforderungen oder Sportprofile.
Das ist höchst interessant, aber man müsste es Einheit für Einheit bearbeiten: Vollzeit oder nicht, Aufnahmevoraussetzungen, Einsatzanforderungen, Pflichttrainings in den Bereichen Sport, Schießen, Taktik... -------------------- lerne leiden, ohne zu klagen manchmal geht der Horizont über die klassische BW-Schiessausbildung hinaus (Goschi) Ich habe mit Debilen gesprochen, mit Debilen die einen Schulabschluss haben und mit Debilen die einen Schulabschluss vergeben. |

Einfach irre, wie viele unterschiedliche Stadt-, Landes- und und Bundesbehörden da in Boston zu Werke sind (bzw. nun mehr waren, da sie ihn haben). Das zu koordinieren, muss ein Alptraum gewesen sein.
