Lundi matin, une prise d'otages a eu lieu à l'Assemblée nationale. En réalité, il ne s'agissait que d'un exercice grandeur nature pour le GIGN, l'élite de la gendarmerie. Une centaine de ses membres ont mis fin à l'assaut mené par les faux terroristes.

Was ist OSA?
OSA bedeutet : Optronische Spezial Aufklärung. Es handelt sich dabei um Einsatzdokumentation im „Fernspäheinsatz“ oder auch „Tectical Explotation Operations (OPTIONAL)“ also die Fähigkeit zur optischen Gewinnung von Schlüsselinformationen in der Tiefe des Raumes. Die Soldaten beobachten mit moderner „optronischer“ Ausrüstung, wie speziellen Fotoapparaten und melden mit der bei den Spezialkräften verwendeten Fernmeldeausrüstung. Sie verschicken an die Operationsführung Bilder um frühzeitig über Lageänderungen zu informieren, die Absichten des Gegners zu studieren oder ein Hochwertziel (HVT) zu identifizieren. Traditionell erhalten Scharfschützen diese Ausbildung. In dem demnächst anlaufenden Kinofilm „Lone Survivor“, ist der Einsatz eines OSA Team eindrucksvoll dokumentiert. Bewaffnet sind die Soldaten mit dem nur von Spezialkräften geführten G27 und dem schon bekannten G36K A1. Auf beiden Waffen sind sogenannte „Surpressor“ montiert.
