Dort wurden noch Handgranaten mitgeführt,jeder Soldat mindestens eine,maximal drei.  1xG36 mir AG36 7 Magazine = 210 Patronen 4 Patronen 40mm HE 1xP8 2 Magazine für die P8 = 30 Patronen 1x Schnellnebel 1x Lucie Das SEM 52 und die SigPi + Munition sind Zusatz für einen Gruppenführer. Das wurde direkt am Mann in der Ausrüstung mitgeführt. Je nach Auftrag hatte man natürlich noch sein Daybag mit zusätzlicher Ausrüstung dabei. Da waren dann z.B. Sachen wie Wasser,Signalrauch,Nebel, Munition für MG,persönliche Handwaffe,40mm,optronisches Gerät,Batterien usw. Aus heutiger Sicht würde ich sagen,man hätte sich vielleicht auch etwas reduzieren können (-2 Magazine),da spielt aber auch gerade die Ausbildung und das Vertrauen untereinander eine wichtige Rolle.Man war 2010 auch etwas von den Ereignissen des Karfreitagsgefechtes beeinflusst,bzw generell von Meldungen über Gefechte aus Afghanistan mit sehr hohen Tagesverbräuchen an Munition (über ~10.000 Patronen). Wie gesagt,eine gute und solide Ausbildung spielt dort schon eine große Rolle. -------------------- Jethro Tull hätten in Woodstock auftreten sollen…

Ist der Feuerlöscher von IFEX.
Da kann man auch Reizgas zusetzen, dann ist das quasi "dual-usable". IFEX zum Feuerlöschen ist ja schön und gut, aber für die kommunalen Feuerwehren kann man das getrost vergessen. Ich habe mit so einem Ding mal ein Auto gelöscht, aus UVV-Sicht nicht der Bringer, zu komplex und wehe wenn die Brandlast und die Löschmittelmenge nicht zueinander passen. Dann steht man "kurze Hose - Holzgewehr" da. -------------------- Es gibt drei Dinge auf dieser Welt die immer die Wahrheit sagen: Kleine Kinder, Betrunkene und Leggings.

Ich habe mich gestern schon gefragt, ob dass tatsächlich ein IFEX ist und ob sich der Mist weiterhin so schlecht verkauft, dass man sich andere Kundenkreise erschließen muss.

Es hat schon seine Gründe, dass sich der Kram seit mehr als 15 Jahren nicht wirklich durchsetzen konnte. Zumal man mit fein verteiltem Wasser vielleicht die Flamme erst einmal löschen kann, aber nicht die Energie aus dem festen Brandgut bekommt. Daher wurde bei verdächtig vielen IFEX-Vorführungen im Nachhinein ganz klassisch mit dem Schlauch abgelöscht.

Hmmm, Wake war ja von einem Taifun betroffen gewesen und komplett evakuiert worden. Da kann man dann nicht einfach auf gut Glück dort mit einem großen Transporter landen, es müssen die Landebahnen geräumt und auf Schäden gecheckt werden und Wake ist ja 'ne ganze Ecke von der nächsten Luftwaffenbasis entfernt, d.h. man kann nicht mal eben so einfach mittels Hubschrauber ohne sehr großen Luftbetankungsaufwand dorthin verlegen. Die Special Tactics Airmen der 353 SOG standen bereit und sind u.a. auch genau für solche Fälle da. Aber klar, gute PR-Fotos gab's bei der Gelegenheit auch.

Damit fixiert man den Helmbezug bzw. das Helmtarnnetz. Gibt da unterschiedliche Lösungen von Klebeband bis zum für den Zweck gerfertigten Gummiband.

Zum fixieren (wie FC bereits geschrieben) und zum Schutz des Helmbezuges, da der Bezug an der Kante halt sehr schnell und gerne kaputt geht. Ich benutze dafür ein Stück Lkw Schlauch, 7cm breit.
