The Bitch
Nickname to this rather unassuming FAL rifle. During the Vietnam War the FAL saw use with Australian troops as well as the SAS. Some rifles were modified at the base to better adapt to the thick jungle battlefield; The Bitch was the result. A shortened barrel and gas system, M16 flash hider and was reconverted to full-auto. This particular example is one of the only ones left from the Vietnam War, now residing at an Australian military base for training purposes. It’s serial number? AD006BEAST. This was done by the field gunsmith. Source: gunrunnerhell
