Hi,
mal ´ne kurze Frage : Bild stammt etwa von ´97/´98 und zeigt einen Angehörigen der US Navy SEALs. Hat irgendwer zufällig weitere Fotos aus derselben Fotoserie o.ä. rumliegen ? Danke ! Danke Dave76 für diese Bildersammlung! Sehr genial! Da werden echt Erinnerungen an die Zeiten wach, in der man noch auf die äußerst unregelmäßig erscheinende "Barett" und sündhaft teure US-Bildbände angewiesen war, um seinem Militarismus zu frönen. Und wie man es kaum erwarten konnte, daß das nächste "Nam"-Sammelheft erschien. Und wie einen das auf dem Frankfurter Flohmarkt aufgetriebene US-ALICE-Koppelzeug als höchstmoderner Ausrüstungsgegenstand erfreut hat. Irgendwie mag ich auch woodland noch nach wie vor.

Aber der Pornobalken war doch in den 80igern obligatorisch, der hat es doch sogar noch in Top Gun geschafft.
Selbst normale Infantristen sehen heute hochgerüsteter aus als die. Aber den Unterschied macht hoffentlich nicht die Ausrüstung, sondern der Mann. Was mich sehr erstant ist die im grossen und ganzen eher schmale und in machen Faellen fast schmaechtige Statur im Gegensatz zu BIldern aus Afghanistan oder dem Irak.
Ist das dem deutlichen hoeheren Gewicht der Ausruestung geschuldet oder ein Irrweg des heutigen Koerperkultes? Vorallem wenn man zB in Restrepo liest, dass die Soldaten nach kurzer Zeit alle nach Aceton stinken und anscheinend in eine katable Stoffwechsellage geraten wo sie Ketonkoerper produzieren koennte man fast meinen das dieses Plus an Muskulatur eher Nachteile als Vorteile hat! Gibt es da irgendwelche Erfahrungswerte hier im Forum oder vll auch Studien zu? |

Gibt es da irgendwelche Erfahrungswerte hier im Forum oder vll auch Studien zu? Studien kenne ich keine, aber Bodybuilding als Teil eines als professionell angesehenen Körperkultes ist verstärkt erst in den 90ern aufgekommen. Ich muss mal meine alten Körperpsychologie-Unterlagen durchgehen, ob Gisela Stein da zu geforscht hat. Was natürlich in den 80ern auch fehlt sind Körperpanzer. Ich würde mal darauf tippen, dass es stark am Körperkult liegt. Natürlich muss man mit der schwereren Ausrüstung kräftiger sein, aber ob man so stark sein muss bezweifle ich. Das kann natürlich auch eine Henne-und-Ei-Geschichte sein. Mehr Ausrüstung heisst mehr Kraft, mehr Kraft erlaubt wiederaum mehr Ausrüstung. Aber eigentlich sollte Ausdauer vor Kraft kommen. Allerdings können da natürlich auch gewisse Einsatzumstände eine Rolle spielen. Wer motorisiert in Afghanistan unterwegs ist und gelegentlich mal Türen eintritt, für den mag kräftiger durchaus vorteilhaft sein. Muss man tagelang durch den Dschungel kriechen, dürfte leicht-ist-Trumpf gelten. Ein 90+ kg Mann mit 50+kg Gepäck schleicht nicht mehr durch den Dschungel, der stapft wohl eher. Bei 35° und 80% Luftfeuchtigkeit dürfte auch jedes Kilo weniger helfen. (Weniger Arbeitsleistung und mehr Körperoberfläche pro Kilogramm dürfte auf Dauer der Leistungsfähigkeit zuträglich sein.)
Das erinnert mich auch an einen Artikel, der ungefähr hieß "10 Dinge, die ich von den Afghanen über das Kämpfen gelernt habe", der unter anderem meinte, dass möglichst wenig zusätzliches Gewicht, im infanteristischen Kampf sehr von Vorteil sein kann. Die gewonnene Geschwindigkeit erlaubt schnelle Taktiken, die mit viel Gerödel nicht drin sind. (Also quasi Beweguns- vs. Stellungskrieg ) Es fällt mir immer auf, dass auch auf aktuellen Bildern Fremdenlegionäre zwar durchtrainiert, aber eben nicht übermäßig muskulös ausehen, und meistens mit Gewehr und Uniform und wenig sonst auskommen. Man sollte auch bedenken, dass professionelles bodybuilding schlicht und ergreifend sehr zeitaufwändig ist. Nicht jeder hat die Zeit dafür übrig, besonders nicht, wenn man Mitglied einer Spezialeinheit ist, die haben anderes und besseres zu tun.
Desweiteren ist es nicht immer so, dass Masse auch gleich Kraft bedeutet. Im Bodybuilding wird halt auch viel "künstlich aufgeschwemmt", damit es massiger aussieht, aber das bedeutet nicht immer, dass die Kraft so extrem viel größer als bei einem etwas hagereren Gesellen ist, der auch gut trainiert ist. Von der Geschwindigkeit ganz zu schweigen, solche Massen müssen auch erst mal in Bewegung gesetzt werden, was bei einem Feuergefecht nicht unbedingt ne tolle Sache sein muss. Im Nahkampf ist es allerdings sicherlich ziemlich "erdrückend" ^^ Der Beitrag wurde von ElDuderino bearbeitet: 18. Ich gehe nicht davon aus, dass Angehörige von Spezialeinheiten tatsächliches Bodybuilding betreiben. Solche Leute brauchen Kraftausdauer, und wie lange jemand durchhält sieht man nicht ihren Oberarmen an. Deswegen können sie trotzdem ziemliche Kanten sein, siehe zum Beispiel Schwimmer. Die werden schon viel Zeit in Krafträumen verbringen, aber ich denke nicht, dass bei denen die Optik was zählt. Kann mich zB an eine Doku über die Kampfschwimmer der BW erinnern, die waren alle gut gebaut und sehr sportlich (logisch), aber da sah keiner aus wie Hulk Hogan.
