Am 8. Mai gegen 17:10 Uhr traf ein Airbus der Luftwaffe mit dem am 4. Mai in Afghanistan gefallenen Soldaten des Kommando Spezialkräfte auf dem Flughafen Köln-Wahn ein.

Ein Ehrenspalier der Einheit des Gefallenen bildete den würdevollen Rahmen für den Empfang durch die Angehörigen und durch eine militärische Abordnung unter Führung des Kommandeurs KSK, Oberst Dag Baehr, sowie im Beisein des Stellvertretenden Kommandeurs der Division Spezielle Operationen, Brigadegeneral Volker Bescht.

Zuvor hatten sich die Soldaten des deutschen Einsatzkontingents ISAF bei einer Gedenkfeier in Mazar-e Sharif von dem gefallenen Kameraden verabschiedet. Der Parlamentarische Staatssekretär beim Verteidigungsministerium, Christian Schmidt, und der Kommandeur des deutschen Einsatzkontingents ISAF, Generalmajor Jörg Vollmer, hatten die Traueransprachen gehalten.

Die Trauerfeier in Deutschland wird ohne Medienpräsenz und Öffentlichkeit stattfinden.

Ein wenig Recherche hat Folgendes zutage gefördert:

Das Bild aus Tschetschenien stammt anscheinend aus dem Jahr 2001 und zeigt Spezialkräfte der FSB-Einheit Vympel. Der Linke trägt ein AEK-971, auf der rechten Seite ein AS Val.

Die Bilder chinesischen Marine-Spezialkräfte stammen aus dem Jahr 2010 und sind tatsächlich auch in etwas größer auffindbar. Zum Beispiel samt Bildunterschrift:

Chechnya ist auf Englisch, habe es einfach genau so übernommen und mehr Infos hatte ich nicht zu den Bildern. Aber die Bilder von den Chinesen waren deutlich größer, als ich die gepostet habe...komisch...

Sehe ich zum ersten mal. Scheint mir im Grunde ein AS VAL mit Gimmicks zu sein. Gibt es da besondere Unterschiede? Abgesehen vom etwas ungewöhnlich angebrachter Schulterstütze (Zweck?) und dem Vordergriff.

Сhechnya ist aber wesentlich kürzer (8 Buchstaben gegen 14 ) und entspricht phonetisch auch eher dem russischen Wort.

SR-3(M) ist eine Entwicklung aus VSS/AS für Einheiten des FSB, während AS und VSS weiterhin von der Armee verwendet werden. Das Innenministerium hat auch noch 9A91 bzw. VSK-94, die den selben Zweck erfüllen.

Für das SR-3M wurde auch noch ein neues 30-Schuss-Magazin entwickelt, das auch von AS und WSS verwendet werden kann.
