EloKa-Soldaten (Eloka=Elektronische Kampfführung) aus den Standorten Frankenberg, Donauwörth, Nienburg, Daun und Bramstedt üben im Rahmen der Teamausbildung das Zusammenspiel zwischen elektronischer Aufklärung und infanteristischer Patrouillentätigkeit. Dies dient der fachlichen Ausbildung, der Vertrauensbildung und dem Zusammenwachsen für den Afghanistaneinsatz. .Bei einer Patrouille bestehend aus dem Störpanzer "Hummel", einem Aufklärungsfahrzeug vom Typ Eule (EULe= elektronisches Unterstützungsgerät leicht) und zwei LKW MAN 5 Tonnen geländegängig wird ein Fahrzeugsausfall durch einen IED (improvised explosive device) Anschlag simuliert und die "verletzten" Soldaten müssen unter Feuerschutz geborgen werden. ©Bundeswehr/Bienert

Appuyée par plusieurs patrouilles de chasse et les hélicoptères du groupe aéromobile (GAM) et des moyens de surveillance (ATL 2, drone), la force Serval s’est emparée simultanément de l’aéroport de Tombouctou avec le GTIA 21e RIMa et des abords nord de la ville par le largage des parachutistes du 2e régiment étranger de parachutistes (2e REP). Le dispositif se réarticule actuellement pour consolider la position et permettre aux autorités et forces armées maliennes (FAM) de reprendre le contrôle de la ville.
