Eben das ist der Knackpunkt, welcher der ganzen Geschichte sein Geschmäckle gibt.
Auf der anderen Seite hat man nämlich Kameraden jahrelang wegen privater high-cut Helme und privaten Aktiv-Gehörschutz angeprangert - bei den Laubsägearbeiten am Gefechtshelm auch zu Recht - und immer auf das ballistische Loch verwiesen, kein Versicherungsschutz blablub. Nur, um dann mit solch einer Heldentat um die Ecke zu kommen.


Wir hatten es ja mal vor einer weile zu diesem Thema, hab heute mal auf der Projektseite des BAAINBw zum IDZ-ES nachgeschaut und der FAST Helm ist tatsächlich auch mit den modularen Schutz beschafft und im System eingeführt, wäre interessant zu wissen ob damit auch gearbeitet wird oder ob es beschafft wurde und jetzt irgendwo rum liegt.

Es kommt mir so vor,dass die abgebildeten deutschen Soldaten massiv privat beschaffte Ausrüstung nutzen.
Ich bin bestimmt niemand,der das verurteilt,aber weiß jemand,wie es mit dienstlicher Ausrüstung bei den Kampfrettern der Luftwaffe ausschaut?

So toll diese Bilder auch aussehen und so gut die Jungs auch sein mögen, aber genau diese Bilder sind es, die diese unsägliche Diskussion über "marodierende Banden" anheizen und denen Futter geben. Auf diesen Bildern ist eindrucksvoll zu sehen, dass es da kaum einen deutsche Soldaten gibt, der auch nur annähernd irgendwas mit Uniform am Hut hat. Schön das man da als krasses Spiegelbild die PJ sieht, trotz einheitlicher Ausrüstung können die anscheinden ihre Aufgabe erfüllen.......

Grad mal in die MAT-Stan der Kampfretter geschaut, schon nicht schlecht wie die eigentlich ausgestattet sind, somit hätten die ihre PMC Optik eigentlich nicht nötig.

Nur weil jemand ein AR-15 und 'en olivgrünen Overall trägt ist er, oder besser sie, noch lange kein SWAT-officer. Ich denke mal die Dame ist ein 'stinknormaler' Environmental Conservation officer, wie's da auch steht, die sind nämlich auch bewaffnet und können auch auf Langwaffen zurückgreifen. Ob das New York State Department of Environmental Conservation tatsächlich über ein taktisches Team ('SWAT') verfügt kann ich gerade nicht mit Sicherheit sagen, möglicherweise schon, sieht mir aber nicht danach aus.

ALLES hat eigene SWATs mittlerweile. Die US-Exekutive hat nahezu in allen Behörden SWATs aufgebaut. Dazu kommen Staatspolizeien und Ministerien mit SWATs, sowie Kommunen.

Auch wenn dieser Eindruck schnell entsteht, da es ja tatsächlich eine große Menge an taktischen Teams (SWATs/ERTs/SRTs etc. pp.) gibt, hat nicht wirklich jede Strafverfolgungsbehörde der USA eine eigene Sondereinheit. Man geht von etwa 5000 taktischen Teams bei knapp 18000 staatlichen und lokalen Strafverfolgungsbehörden (also federal, state und local) aus.

Die haben kein SWAT, derartige Behörden haben nicht das Bedürfnis für solche Dinge. Man dürfte die herangezogen haben, da sie nun mal bei Wäldern und dergleichen in ihrem Arbeitsgelände agieren und schlicht besser mit dem Gelände vertraut sind. Die Ausrüstung ist ja jetzt auch nicht allzu "tacticool", denk dir nur die für den Zweck der Suche getragene Weste weg und du hast einen 0815 'murica Polizisten.

Dir ist schon klar, dass dieses Bild eine Ausnahmesituation zeigt? Und der Einsatz einer Langwaffe sowie einer Schutzweste scheint mir bei der Suche nach zwei bewaffneten Gewaltverbrechern doch sehr zweckmässig, sonst sehe ich da keine abnorme Ausrüstung. Im 'normalen' Einsatzalltag sind die Environmental Conservation Police Officers natürlich nicht so ausgerüstet.

Ich stelle mir gerade Mitarbeiter der Forstbehörde mit Helm, Weste und G36 im Unterholz nach Verbrechern suchend vor.....
Ich saß mal in DeWitt, MI in einer Sportsbar mit bewaffneten Polizisten von gleich vier verschiedene Polizei Behörden... null einheitliche Kennzeichen um einen LEO von nem Wachmann zu unterscheiden ohne ganz nah ran zu gehen. Das ist da schon kurios anders.
