Vermutlich eher nicht. Der Name Westmoreland ist im Dixie-Land nicht ganz unüblich. Historisch dürften die Namen auf eines der acht Counties in den USA mit dem Namen Westmor(e)land zurückgehen oder das historische County Westmorland in England. Wenn man die "White Pages" (Telefonbücher) der USA durchgeht, ist Benjamin Westmoreland aus Georgia oder Texas und hat eine Menge Namensvettern. Das heißt aber nicht, das sein Stammbaum ein Kreis wäre. wink.gif
