Nochmal zur Verdeutlichung:

"Echte" Crimean self-defense units, wie sie von Journalisten und Nachrichtenagenturen oft betitelt wurden, sind so gut wie gar nicht auf den Bildern von der Krim zu sehen. Zu 99% handelte es sich um russische Armeeeinheiten unterschiedlicher Couleur (Luftlandetruppen, Marineinfanteristen, Spezialkräfte).

Dave, eigentlich verstand man in allen Medien durchgehend, die sehr uniform uniformierten Herren in den grünen Tarnanzügen als Krim Selbstverteidigungskräfte.

Dass es selbstverständlich offensichtlich reguläre russische Einheiten waren, ist klar, ändert aber nichts an der Nomenklatur, mit der sie gerade auch aus russischen Medien betitelt wurden.
Da muss man jetzt auch nicht spitzfindig sein, es geht hierbei darum, welche Kräfte (offiziell) als was dargestellt wurden.

Die FSB Grad Bilder zeigen aber eben offensichtlich nochmal etwas ganz anderes, es ist gut sichtbar, dass es sich nicht um die selben handelt, die als Krim-Selbstverteidigungskräfte betitelt wurden, die Ausrüstung, die Waffen, der tarnanzug, alles deutlich abweichend.

^ Es wurden alle möglichen Begriffe verwandt, am Häufigsten fanden sich die Bezeichnungen unidentified gunmen, unidentified armed men, masked gunmen in military uniform oft aber auch military troops, soldiers believed to be Russian, aber auch deutlich Russian soldiers. Die Bezeichnung Crimean self-defense units findet sich bei Bildunterschriften der westlichen Nachrichtenagenturen selten und ist meiner Meinung auch eher untauglich, da hier, im Vergleich zu den eher offenen Bezeichnungen wie unidentified gunmen, impliziert wird, dass es sich um lokale Einheiten der Krim handle. Dass die russischen Medien und Regierung diesen Begriff verwandten macht ihn nicht tauglicher, im Gegenteil, hier sollte ja bewusst etwas impliziert werden.
Ich finde wir hier sollten schon deutlich aussprechen was zu sehen ist, und auf solche eher missverständlichen bzw. potentiell ambivalenten Bezeichnugen verzichten. Alternativ könnte man natürlich auch "Crimean self-defense units" in Anführungsstriche setzten, um deutlich zu machen, dass man den Begriff bewußt als Zitat verwendet und nicht unbedingt als eindeutige Zugehörigkeitsbezeichnung nutzt.

Und hier, im deutschsprachigen Raum war in den Medien bald sehr oft von den Krim-Selbstverteidigungskräften die Rede, auch weil es von russischer Seite her genutzt wurde, andere Bezeichnungen waren vor allem en vogue, weil man nicht die russische Propaganda-Sprache benutzen wollte.

und wir sind kein akademisches Forschungsforum, wir müssen keine ewig standhaltende Definition begründen, etwas weniger abgehoben tuts auch.

Ich stelle mir das doch recht schwer vor, immerhin fallen Leute die eine Schutzweste tragen auch einfach um wenn sie angeschossen werden. Dass bei den 'pro-Russian gunmen' auf der Krim auch russische Spezialkräfte dabei waren habe ich doch eigentlich recht deutlich gemacht, dachte ich. Bei den Bildern aus der Ost-Ukraine habe ich noch keine solchen Truppen erblickt, welche meinst du denn konkret?

Das scheint nur knapp ein halbes Dutzend verschiedener Köpfe zu sein, mit identischem Tarnanzug, dazu CRC-Ausrüstung (aus der Polizeistation?) und ansonsten sehr heterogener Ausrüstung.

Einige SBU-Gebäude haben sie ja auch übernommen. Zumindest in einem haben sie haufenweise Waffen und Ausrüstung gefunden.

Abgesehen davon, kann man das Zeug genauso wie in Deutschland in Waffen- oder Jagdgeschäften käuflich erwerben.
Auch in Deutschland kann man die neuste russische Uniform in jeglicher Ausführung
(Winter /Sommer) z. B. bei Ebay bestellen.

Ich weiß nicht genau worauf diese 'Weichluftkrieger'-Rhetorik abzielt, da es sich ja offensichtlich um mit scharfen Schußwaffen ausgestattete Männer handelt, aber mal als Hinweis: die ukrainischen Streitkräfte verfügen über RPG-18 (welche ich hier sehe), und es wurden in den letzten Tagen einige reguläre ukrainische Soldaten von pro-russischen Milizen entwaffnet, ebenso ist mir ein Video bekannt, welches das Aufbringen eines ukrainischen Militärlasters mit einigen Kisten RPG-18 durch pro-russische Kräfte zeigt.

Angehörige der Fernspählehrkompanie 200 haben in der vergangenen Woche im US-Bundesstaat Tennessee ihre Fertigkeiten bei Fallschirmsprüngen aus großer Höhe geschult.
In der Nähe von Memphis übten die 20 Aufklärungsspezialisten unter anderem das Gleitfallschirmspringen mit voller Ausrüstung.
